An app that punishes people for getting briefly distracted
Flowstate is an app for fiction writers. You set a time limit, and then you have to write for that amount of time. If you stop for more than five seconds, then all of your work is deleted and you cannot get it back. The idea is that it punishes people for getting distracted, but it also means innocent distractions such as phone calls may cause you to lose all your work. It is not suitable for people who need to stop and start writing in order to do their research.
